Digital audio output port - SPDF

I am trying to use the digital audio output port. This port does not seem to be active. Is there a command to telnet to box and enable the port?

Hi, I have resurrected my Prismiq Media Player.

I am using MediaManager Version: r 4.1 build 0.2.

I am not very familiar with the interface yet, but it looks like it can be figured out easily enough.

I am having difficulty playing some video files. Is there something I need to do to have the player play AVIs?

Are there other versions of the MediaManager that are better? Firmware?

I realize this board is dead, but just in case:
I (for some unknown reason) have taken interest in this router.
I had never even heard of them until I saw the "RIP" article on engadget, and after calling them up, I got them to give me a great deal (much better than even the closeout prices) on 20 commanders and 10 media players (and a box of misc wireless nics unpackaged).

I have made some interesting changes to the firmware, adding a universal mass storage...

Any VISTA driver available or workaround?

So far Scans only show .jpg and .jpeg as file types to search for. All my search shows this is a problem with others running Vista. Any 3rd party programs or work around? Running the manager in compatibility XP or NT mode is no help.

Lost Software need to download it from somewhere

I had a catastrophic crash and have lost my hard drive... I had all the data backup but figured that I would want to reinstall the software in anycase. Unfortunately out of all my software it seems like in the last move or two I have misplaced/lost the Prismiq SW. If anybody still have a copy of the software that can be posted somewhere or if you want to make a copy of the cd let me knoe and I will pay postage and something else as well.

Rhapsody 4.0 and Prismiq

Anyone had problems streaming the new release of Rhapsody to the Prismiq? I'd never had issues before, but now media manager does not seem to pick up on the Rhapsody upnp. Any advise would be appreciated.

MediaManager will only import jpg files, no music or movies under Vista. Tried v4.0 and v4.1, 'app compatibility' makes no diff. Any ideas?

I just discovered that prismiq.org is dead.
Anyone knows where one can find the collection of the information and source that used to be hosted there?
I'd like to give a shot to rebuilding PRISMIQ's firmware and make it an actually useful device.

Hello,

I just bought one of these without software off ebay. I pursued many links from past conversations to dead ends, but was hoping someone could help me find a working windows prismiq media manager application. I'm just starting with this so I hesitate to start into all of the hacks yet, but if that's all that's available, then I'll go there. Any words of advise for a prismiq newby are greatly appreciated.

Video files "not found"

Hello. Does anyone have any uggestions on how to debug this problem:

I have a number of video files on my server. Some are vob, some are mpg and some are avi files. The avi files appear on the TV screen as being in the playlist, but when I select them to be played, I get a message that they cannot be found. The only time they can be played is when I first turn on the media receiver and reboot the server. Then I can select one and play it, but it will not play again, nor will any...

I'm not sure how many people on here care about Xbox Live, but I do.
I have been working on some ideas for some services I want to provide on my website.

I bring this to this community in hopes of finding like-minded individuals willing to work on some features for the PrismIQ Media Player to allow Xbox Live functions.

I have already gotten some community services to work on it, and am willing to help others interested in it.

Go to www.archive.org/ and use their "Way Back Machine" they have some downloads archived, they have all their websites archived!

Sadly, not everything is there, alot is missing, but at least we have something to work with!
